Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, 21 de febrero de 2023.- Fomentar la limpieza y orden en la isla es uno de los principales compromisos de la alcaldesa, Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde, por ello, se llev\u00f3 a cabo una Jornada de Limpieza en el \u00e1rea costera de la zona insular.<\/span><\/p>

Al respecto, el director de Medio Ambiente y Ecolog\u00eda de Isla Mujeres, Edwin Novelo R\u00edos, explic\u00f3 que en coordinaci\u00f3n con el personal de la Zona Federal Mar\u00edtimo Terrestre (Zofemat) de Isla Mujeres, la Fundaci\u00f3n M\u00eda Sustentable, Parley, Pepenice y empresas privadas se realiz\u00f3 una Jornada de Limpieza sobre la zona costera de la zona insular.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

El funcionario municipal detall\u00f3 que la limpieza se efectu\u00f3 en la Laguna Macax siguiendo en Sac-Bajo, la Hacienda Mundaca hasta llegar al malec\u00f3n donde se ubica el Tibur\u00f3n Ballena recolectando 499.6 kilogramos de basura.<\/span><\/p>

Novelo R\u00edos, dio a conocer que entre lo recolectado est\u00e1 vidrio, PET, pl\u00e1stico duro y residuos no recuperables, entre otros.<\/span><\/p>

El funcionario municipal precis\u00f3 que la finalidad de la Jornada de Limpieza en la zona costera es conservar limpia a la isla y concientizar a la comunidad isle\u00f1a sobre la importancia que tiene el poner en pr\u00e1ctica la cultura de educaci\u00f3n ambiental lo que se traducir\u00e1 en beneficios para las y los isle\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
