2025.\u2014El Gobierno Municipal de Playa del Carmen, encabezado por la presidenta Estefan\u00eda Mercado, est\u00e1 a punto de concretar una obra sin precedentes: la construcci\u00f3n de la primera Cl\u00ednica P\u00fablica de Bienestar Animal, que registra ya un 90% de avance y una inversi\u00f3n cercana a los 10 millones de pesos.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este espacio \u2014\u00fanico en su tipo en la historia del municipio\u2014 brindar\u00e1 atenci\u00f3n veterinaria integral y gratuita tanto para animales en situaci\u00f3n de calle como para mascotas de familias playenses, marcando un hito en el compromiso del gobierno con una ciudad m\u00e1s humana, emp\u00e1tica y solidaria.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La cl\u00ednica se desarrolla en las instalaciones del Centro de Control Animal, Asistencia y Zoonosis (CENCAAZ) y contempla:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">40 espacios dignos para observaci\u00f3n, medicaci\u00f3n y tratamiento.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consultorios adaptados como cl\u00ednica veterinaria funcional.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c1rea exclusiva para esterilizaci\u00f3n de perros y gatos.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Corrales de libre movimiento para reducir el estr\u00e9s de los animales.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Est\u00e9tica canina, quir\u00f3fano, farmacia, \u00e1rea de recuperaci\u00f3n, congelaci\u00f3n, medicamentos y bodega.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ampliaci\u00f3n del crematorio, pavimentaci\u00f3n e iluminaci\u00f3n para acceso de ambulancias.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rehabilitaci\u00f3n de jaulas, puertas, bancas, andadores e infraestructura general.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con esta obra, Playa del Carmen se posiciona a la vanguardia del bienestar animal en M\u00e9xico, respondiendo a una deuda hist\u00f3rica con los animales y sus cuidadores.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEstamos construyendo dignidad para quienes no tienen voz, pero s\u00ed coraz\u00f3n.
