\u2013 Ante las recientes denuncias ciudadanas en redes sociales sobre una posible tala de mangle en Playa Mamitas, la presidenta municipal Estefan\u00eda Mercado aclar\u00f3 que el municipio no ha otorgado ninguna licencia de construcci\u00f3n en la zona y que tampoco existe autorizaci\u00f3n ambiental por parte de la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (Semarnat).<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEs importante precisar que no se ha detectado la presencia de personas talando mangle con machetes, como se ha se\u00f1alado; sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n es cierto que no existe autorizaci\u00f3n alguna para realizar obras en ese sitio\u201d, reiter\u00f3 la Alcaldesa.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sostuvo que el gobierno local no ha emitido licencias de construcci\u00f3n para ese predio, y subray\u00f3 que, para hacerlo, ser\u00eda indispensable contar previamente con la autorizaci\u00f3n de los permisos de impacto ambiental por parte de Semarnat, lo cual, hasta el momento, no ha sucedido.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estefan\u00eda Mercado aclar\u00f3 este caso que ha generado atenci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, no solo por su impacto potencial en el medio ambiente, sino tambi\u00e9n por la importancia de asegurar la transparencia en los procesos de autorizaci\u00f3n de desarrollos en zonas de alto valor ambiental.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El gobierno de Playa del Carmen mantiene una pol\u00edtica que se centra en el valor del cuidado del medio ambiente, por lo que desde el primer d\u00eda de la actual administraci\u00f3n se sum\u00f3 al esfuerzo de organizaciones ambientalistas y colectivos ciudadanos para vigilar y garantizar la protecci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas costeros, particularmente del mangle, una especie vital para el equilibrio ecol\u00f3gico y
