2025.\u2014 Gracias a la estrategia integral de seguridad impulsada por la presidenta municipal Estefan\u00eda Mercado, los homicidios dolosos en Playa del Carmen disminuyeron un 36.76% en comparaci\u00f3n con el inicio de la administraci\u00f3n anterior.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mientras que del 1 de octubre de 2021 al 17 de mayo de 2022 se registraron 68 homicidios, en el mismo periodo de su administraci\u00f3n, del 1 de octubre de 2024 al 17 de mayo de 2025, se contabilizaron 43 casos.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este resultado refleja el impacto positivo de una pol\u00edtica de seguridad con inversi\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica, inteligencia policial y presencia permanente en el territorio.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s, del 1 al 19 de mayo de 2025, Playa del Carmen se ubic\u00f3 entre los municipios con menor tasa de homicidios dolosos por cada 100 mil habitantes en el pa\u00eds, con una tasa de 0.76.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre los logros recientes tambi\u00e9n se destaca el uso del helic\u00f3ptero de seguridad para realizar dos rescates humanitarios y tareas de patrullaje, as\u00ed como el apoyo en la detecci\u00f3n de incendios forestales.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEstamos demostrando que cuando se invierte con honestidad y visi\u00f3n, la seguridad se construye de verdad. Hoy Playa del Carmen es m\u00e1s segura porque hay una estrategia clara, coordinaci\u00f3n institucional y compromiso con el bienestar de las familias\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Estefan\u00eda
