2025.\u2014 En un acto de justicia social y compromiso con la salud p\u00fablica, la gobernadora del estado, Mara Lezama, y la presidenta municipal de Playa del Carmen, Estefan\u00eda Mercado, inauguraron la primera Unidad M\u00e9dica financiada 100% con recursos municipales, como parte del programa \u201cSalud Sin Tanto Choro\u201d, que brindar\u00e1 atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica gratuita a 20 mil familias playenses.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ubicada en el fraccionamiento Villas del Sol, esta unidad representa un modelo innovador de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica gratuita, directa y sin burocracia, enfocado en atender con dignidad a quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLa salud no puede ser un privilegio, es un derecho. Nadie debe preocuparse por si puede o no pagar una consulta o un medicamento. Estefan\u00eda est\u00e1 haciendo historia con un gobierno transparente, cercano y honesto, que pone a las personas en el centro\u201d, expres\u00f3 la gobernadora Mara Lezama, al reconocer este esfuerzo como parte del segundo piso de la Cuarta Transformaci\u00f3n en Playa del Carmen.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por su parte, la presidenta Estefan\u00eda Mercado subray\u00f3 el sentido social de este proyecto:<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAqu\u00ed no venimos a hacer promesas, venimos a resolver. En este gobierno, la salud se garantiza, no se condiciona. Este programa nace para que nadie en Playa del Carmen se quede sin atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante el evento se entregaron las primeras tarjetas del programa a Arely, Raquel, Juan \u00c1ngel y Mary Cruz, beneficiarios de esta primera etapa, que permitir\u00e1 incluir tambi\u00e9n hasta tres hijos menores de edad por titular, alcanzando un universo de atenci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 60 mil personas.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Unidad M\u00e9dica ofrece, sin costo alguno para las y los beneficiarios:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consultas generales ilimitadas<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consultorio dental (limpiezas y extracciones)<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Optometr\u00eda y hasta dos pares de lentes graduados al a\u00f1o<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Atenci\u00f3n nutricional y psicol\u00f3gica<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Toma de muestras de laboratorio<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estudios ginecol\u00f3gicos preventivos<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Farmacia con surtido mensual de hasta cuatro medicamentos del cuadro b\u00e1sico<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEste es un gobierno que administra con honestidad el dinero del pueblo, y cuando no se tranza, el dinero alcanza para transformar vidas\u201d, reiter\u00f3 Estefan\u00eda Mercado.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La alcaldesa tambi\u00e9n agradeci\u00f3 a la gobernadora Mara Lezama por ser la gran aliada de Playa del Carmen, y destac\u00f3 que este modelo de salud se alinea con la pol\u00edtica nacional encabezada por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, que impulsa atenci\u00f3n directa, casa por casa, y la consolidaci\u00f3n del sistema p\u00fablico de salud para quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ambas autoridades realizaron un recorrido por las instalaciones para conocer el funcionamiento integral del nuevo centro m\u00e9dico, desde el proceso de afiliaci\u00f3n hasta la entrega de medicamentos.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En el evento estuvieron presentes Flavio Carlos Rosado, secretario estatal de Salud; Jos\u00e9 Antonio Uribe, secretario municipal de Salud; Eduardo Asencio, presidente honorario del DIF; Deyanira Mart\u00ednez, secretaria de Justicia Social y Participaci\u00f3n Ciudadana; legisladoras y legisladores locales y federales, e integrantes del Honorable Cabildo.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con este programa, Playa del Carmen da un paso firme hacia una ciudad m\u00e1s humana, m\u00e1s justa y m\u00e1s saludable para
