2025.\u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bajo el liderazgo de la Presidenta Municipal, Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde, el Ayuntamiento de Isla Mujeres, a trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n de Medio Ambiente y Ecolog\u00eda y del Campamento Tortuguero, ha redoblado esfuerzos para proteger los nidos de tortugas y asegurar su preservaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jireth Garc\u00eda, encargada del Campamento Tortuguero, destac\u00f3 que ha iniciado la eclosi\u00f3n con el nacimiento de las primeras tortuguitas de la especie carey.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agreg\u00f3 que desde el inicio de la temporada, se ha trabajado intensamente en la vigilancia y protecci\u00f3n de las playas Icaco, Media Luna, Bachilleres y La Guadalupana, donde se lleva a cabo el monitoreo permanente de la anidaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hasta el momento, se han registrado 10 nidos de tortuga carey con un total de 1,570 huevos protegidos; 59 nidos de tortuga caguama con 5,947 huevos; y 80 nidos de tortuga blanca con 9,317 huevos bajo resguardo.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jireth Garc\u00eda detall\u00f3 que este a\u00f1o no solo se fortalecieron las acciones de vigilancia y conservaci\u00f3n, sino que se logr\u00f3 consolidar un equipo comprometido, guiados y capacitados en el manejo adecuado de los nidos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asimismo, record\u00f3 a la poblaci\u00f3n y visitantes que sigue activa la l\u00ednea directa Tortucel, a trav\u00e9s del n\u00famero telef\u00f3nico 998 490 2675, para reportar cualquier avistamiento de tortugas o nidos, as\u00ed como irregularidades que pongan en riesgo a esta especie emblem\u00e1tica de Isla Mujeres.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con acciones firmes y coordinadas, el Gobierno Municipal de Isla Mujeres reafirma su compromiso con la protecci\u00f3n de
