Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, 13\u00a0 de septiembre de 2025.-La Presidenta Municipal, Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde, particip\u00f3 en la XXVI edici\u00f3n de la tradicional procesi\u00f3n mar\u00edtima hacia Contoy, en honor a la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, reafirmando la importancia de las tradiciones religiosas y culturales, que dan identidad y fortalecen la uni\u00f3n de la comunidad isle\u00f1a.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cEstas tradiciones representan la fe, la identidad y la uni\u00f3n de nuestras familias, y es un privilegio poder compartirlas con mis amigos pescadores y con la comunidad isle\u00f1a\u201d, destac\u00f3 Atenea G\u00f3mez.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Desde temprana hora, las familias isle\u00f1as se reunieron en la Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepci\u00f3n para iniciar el recorrido rumbo al muelle fiscal de madera, donde en un ambiente de fe y devoci\u00f3n, m\u00e1s de mil 300 personas, partieron hacia Contoy para vivir un d\u00eda devoci\u00f3n fiesta y tradici\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Durante la traves\u00eda hacia Contoy se realiz\u00f3 el rezo del rosario y cantos religiosos a cargo del coro parroquial. En la capilla de Contoy la misa en honor a la Santa Patrona de los pescadores fue oficiada por el padre Rafael Gonz\u00e1lez Guzm\u00e1n.<\/span><\/p>
