Durante la temporada, el Campamento Tortuguero registr\u00f3 mil 100 nidos protegidos y resguard\u00f3 121 mil 431 huevos, permitiendo que 98 mil\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">122 cr\u00edas emprendieran su camino hacia el mar. Estos resultados fueron dados a conocer por el Gobierno de Isla Mujeres, encabezado por la Presidenta Municipal, Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde, como parte de la presentaci\u00f3n de cierre del trabajo anual del municipio ante el Comit\u00e9 Estatal de Protecci\u00f3n, Conservaci\u00f3n y Manejo de la Tortuga Marina.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n de Medio Ambiente y Ecolog\u00eda se fortalecieron acciones para proteger a las especies que a\u00f1o con a\u00f1o llegan a las playas de la isla.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Directora de Medio Ambiente y Ecolog\u00eda, Yamira Yaneth Ruiz Noh, explic\u00f3 que la temporada consolid\u00f3 pr\u00e1cticas de monitoreo y resguardo que fortalecieron la supervivencia de las tortugas marinas.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que cada nido protegido y cada cr\u00eda liberada, represent\u00f3 un avance importante en la conservaci\u00f3n, resultado del trabajo coordinado entre el personal especializado, los voluntarios y la comunidad isle\u00f1a.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La alcaldesa isle\u00f1a reconoci\u00f3 el trabajo del grupo de tortugueros, cuyo esfuerzo constante, acompa\u00f1amiento nocturno y dedicaci\u00f3n, hicieron posible el resguardo de los nidos a lo largo de toda la temporada.
