Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, 01 de marzo de 2026.\u2013 El Gobierno Municipal de Isla Mujeres, encabezado por la Presidenta Municipal Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde, celebr\u00f3 el triunfo contundente de los Caguameros de Isla Mujeres en el partido inaugural de la s\u00e9ptima edici\u00f3n de la Liga Maya del Caribe, realizado anoche en la Cancha del Centro \u201cJos\u00e9 del Carmen Pastrana\u201d.<\/span><\/p>

Con marcador final de 91 a 67, el equipo de casa se impuso con autoridad ante Mambas de Benito Ju\u00e1rez, en un encuentro vibrante que se vivi\u00f3 en un ambiente familiar y con el respaldo de la afici\u00f3n isle\u00f1a.<\/span><\/p>

La Presidenta Municipal reconoci\u00f3 el trabajo del Comit\u00e9 Organizador y destac\u00f3 que este tipo de eventos fortalecen el tejido social, al tiempo que generan un impulso positivo para la econom\u00eda local.<\/span><\/p>

Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde subray\u00f3 que el trabajo coordinado entre el Ayuntamiento y las organizaciones deportivas abre espacios para la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana, fortalece el talento local y promueve la sana convivencia entre ni\u00f1as, ni\u00f1os, j\u00f3venes y adultos.<\/span><\/p>

Finalmente, la alcaldesa isle\u00f1a se\u00f1al\u00f3 que recientemente la cancha fue pintada y acondicionada para ofrecer un espacio limpio y ordenado, y puntualiz\u00f3 que torneos como la Liga Maya del Caribe acercan el deporte a la gente, fomentan la unidad y crean oportunidades para la pr\u00e1ctica recreativa y competitiva.<\/span><\/p>
