Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, a 22 de marzo de 2026.\u2014 Con gran participaci\u00f3n de familias isle\u00f1as, se llev\u00f3 a cabo una nueva edici\u00f3n del \u201cPelufest\u201d, un evento en beneficio de los peluditos del Centro de Bienestar Animal.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

El Pelufest forma parte de las acciones que impulsa el Gobierno Municipal que encabeza la alcaldesa Atenea G\u00f3mez Ricalde, para promover la tenencia responsable de mascotas de compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Adem\u00e1s de realizarse un bazar con causa, durante esta jornada se foment\u00f3 la cultura de la adopci\u00f3n responsable, el voluntariado y la solidaridad, a trav\u00e9s de mesas de adopci\u00f3n, donaci\u00f3n y registro de mascotas.<\/span><\/p>

Al recorrer los distintos stands instalados en el Centro de Bienestar Animal, la Presidenta Municipal tambi\u00e9n constat\u00f3 el arranque de la Semana Nacional de Vacunaci\u00f3n Antirr\u00e1bica Canina y Felina, realizada en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Secretar\u00eda de Salud de Quintana Roo y el \u00c1rea de Vectores, la cual se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en el municipio del 22 al 27 de marzo.<\/span><\/p>

En este primer d\u00eda de la jornada, se inform\u00f3 que fueron vacunados un total de 580 perritos y gatitos, tanto en la Isla como en la Zona Continental.<\/span><\/p>
